The Women's Fund mobilizes resources and creates opportunities so that women and girls can reach their fullest potential. In addition to providing grant funding, we also offer an array of workshops, technical assistance, and a bi-annual conference designed to build the capacity of our past and present grantees as well as other women- and girl-centered programs. Our aim is to support and strengthen these organizations and programs and the talented staff who work there.

Women’s Fund Conference
Once every other year, the Women's Fund of Western Massachusetts organizes a one-day conference offering skill-building workshops, panel discussions among leaders in their field, and inspiring speakers. Over 250 attendees—grantees and supporters—from all four counties come together to learn, share, and renew their commitment to the Fund's mission and goals.

The 2011 conference took place on March 8 , on International Women's Day. Download a copy of the 2011 brochure here.

Workshops/Consulting
In addition to the conference, the Women's Fund organizes workshops and brown bag lunches drawing from the expertise of area specialists. We also offer consulting to our grantees through the generosity of volunteers who donate their professional services. Because we understand that our grantee partners have outstanding skills and experiences both unique and in common, we create opportunities for cross-learning and networking as well.

“The Women's Fund offers more non-financial support than any of the other funders that we work with, and that has been wonderful. Making the Case is a great resource, and making that available for use in other program evaluations will likely prove to be very helpful for us.”
— Claire Morenon, Program Coordinator, Community Involved In Sustaining Agriculture (CISA)
