Join a Giving Circle

The needs of women and girls are best addressed through the creative use of collective voice and models of collaborative action. The Women's Fund's affiliation with two giving circles provides exciting and promising examples of how collaborative action can bring the impact of a mission deeper into the communities of women and girls.

Women of Color Giving Circle of the Berkshires
One of our strongest collaborations is with our sister affiliate, the Women of Color Giving Circle of the Berkshires. Nearly five years old, the Circle has worked to build community, encourage youth development and educational success, promote the arts, and encourage civic action among citizens of the Westside neighborhoods of Pittsfield. In addition to providing educational scholarships for the past several years, the Circle began awarding grants in early 2007.

Women's Leadership Network Giving Circle
This Circle is an offshoot of the Women's Leadership Network, which evolved from an early 2007 informal gathering of women, primarily from Hampden and Hampshire Counties, who wanted to create more opportunities for intergenerational mentoring and leadership development. Women involved in the Leadership Network may contribute to a collective fund and have a voice in directing these pooled resources to good causes in Western Massachusetts.
